Akamas Cyprus

Seven nights on the Akamas Peninsula, Cyprus.

The most easterly island in the Mediterranean, Cyprus averages 340 days of sunshine a year, so good light for photography is rarely a problem here! Spring arrives early, and the unspoilt wilderness of the Akamas Peninsula is carpeted by flowers, the hillside orchards are scented by blossoming fruit trees and orange and lemon groves dot the valleys. Colour and character abound in the fishing harbours and mountain villages and the cultural landscape is peppered with beautiful Byzantine churches and even earlier Roman relics. To travel in comfort on the unpaved tracks of the Akamas and the steep roads of the mountain regions, we use a seven - seat 4x4 vehicle with lots of space for cameras and tripods.  Our accommodation is in the beautifully located Droushia Heights Hotel with views to Mount Olympus and the Mediterranean coast.

Included:  Three-star hotel accommodation.  Single occupancy in en-suite rooms.   Breakfast, lunch and dinner.  Transfers from and to Paphos Airport.  Air-conditioned 4x4 transport throughout.  Individual and group photographic tuition.  Entry fees to museums and historical sites.

Not included:  Air travel to Cyprus (see booking conditions).  Travel insurance.  Photographic equipment insurance.
